CentOS in VPS Servers
CentOS is offered with each and every VPS server that we supply and you can select it during the order process from among several other Operating Systems. Depending on the software that you'd like to install and run, you'll be able to choose between the 32-bit and the 64-bit version and your new VPS will be installed and operating soon after that. CentOS supports all three web hosting Control Panels that we provide - cPanel and Hepsia. This enables you to choose if you want to use the server for your own web sites and to control it as a single large account, or if you want to be able to generate multiple web hosting accounts and eventually resell them to others. Of course, you may also get a VPS with no Control Panel and you will get a server with an Operating System and the Apache web server software, but no other thing on it, so that you can set up just the software which you want for your applications.
CentOS in Dedicated Servers
CentOS is among the Operating Systems that we offer with all our dedicated server packages. Throughout the registration process, you can choose from the 32-bit and the 64-bit release of the OS and ensure that the software environment on your new server matches the specifications of the apps that you'd like to install. In contrast to other Operating Systems, CentOS also allows you to choose between several website hosting Control Panels, based on what you need the server for. With Hepsia, for example, you'll be able to control the entire server like an individual account irrespective of the number of domains that you host, while with cPanel you will be able to make a different account for each domain, that can give you the opportunity to start a hosting reseller business. In case you do not select any Control Panel, you'll get the server with CentOS only, since the software that comes with the Control Panels won't be installed. We also provide regular OS updates as part of our own Managed Services package, so you won't have to invest effort and time downloading and installing the most recent and most secure software on your dedicated server.
