JailHost in Shared Website Hosting

JailHost is available by default with all the shared website hosting plans that we provide and you can turn it on with just a single mouse click inside your Hepsia Control Panel. In contrast to other Control Panels where add-on domains keep their content inside the main domain folder, every domain or subdomain in Hepsia has its own folder, thus using JailHost can make a major difference. You can select which sites will use this option and will be locked depending on your content as you may have some Internet site where you would like to allow users or administrators to be able to access other folders in your Internet hosting account. Nonetheless, this option will add a further level of security to your Internet sites in addition to the firewalls which we use and even if any of your sites is hacked, you could restore it fast and easy using any of the multiple daily backup copies of your entire account that we'll generate.

JailHost in Semi-dedicated Servers

JailHost comes with all of our semi-dedicated server plans and you will be able to activate it with a few clicks. It is not activated by default as we do not want to prevent some scripts which need to gain access to multiple folders in your account from working properly. You'll be able to activate JailHost for all other sites that you have from the Hepsia Control Panel and this can be done effortlessly even when you do not have any previous experience. What allows us to offer JailHost is the way Hepsia handles multiple domains - they all have separate folders that could be "locked". In comparison, other well known Control Panels feature add-on domains and the content of the latter is kept in the primary domain folder, so if a single Internet site is hacked, the entire account is hacked, that isn't the case with Hepsia.
